e-SCREEN
 Using technology from Postini and McAfee, this service collects and quarantines spam (junk email) and viruses transmitted via email. e-SCREEN removes unsolicited advertisements for offensive Web sites, credit services, and get-rich-quick schemes. e-SCREEN makes checking your email easier, safer, and a lot more fun!
How it Works
e-SCREEN scans incoming email and scores it on hundreds of attributes like:
- Punctuation Use - like excessive exclamation points!!!!!
- EXCESS CAPITALIZATION
- Use of specific words (ie: act now, credit, XXX, etc.)
- Sender's email address
- Known viruses
A high score in one category isn't always enough to trigger the e-SCREEN filter. However, if an incoming message gets too many high scores, it will be quarantined in a secure Web based Message Center for you to review or delete. You may choose your filter level - lenient, moderate, or aggressive.
